I only cited GE Capital as an example of the "it's free, so we use it" school of decision making. I really know nothing of how successfully, or not, they are deploying SQL Server. What I got out of the conversation is "SQL Server is free, Oracle is expensive, so we have lots of SQL Server". It's not that the guy I was speaking with bought into that, but I'm sure there are plenty of decision makers who live by those words. I would not want to make that my mission statement. -Michael
