Greg Manning Auctions Buys Teletrade For $6M Stk,Cash

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. (Dow Jones)--Greg Manning Auctions Inc. (GMAI) acquired Teletrade
Inc. for about $6 million.

The purchase price consists of $4 million cash and $1.8 million in Greg Manning shares.

In a press release Friday, Greg Manning said it sold 600,000 restricted shares to fund the purchase.

Teletrade had 1997 sales of $21 million. Greg Manning had fiscal 1998 sales of about $22 million.

Trading of Greg Manning's SmallCap-listed shares was halted recently at 2 1/2, unchanged, on
composite volume of 12,300 shares. Average daily volume is 11,478 shares.

Greg Manning is an auction house for stamps, antiquities, sports cards and other collectibles.
