Count me as one who expected an EPS of 0.28-0.29. And count me, a long term DELL bull, who shorted DELL at 72 and closed most of my long positions (selling naked puts) yesterday morning, predict that DELL should see high 50s within the next week.

Covered this morning at 63 1/2 and reshorted at 66 1/2. Will sell Nov. 60 naked puts to maximize my gains if the premium reaches 1 1/2 to 2. In this way, I will be fully boxed.

If there is a rate cut, cover immediately. IF not, DELL test support at 55. Then it will be great time to sell DELL leap naked puts again to ride the issue up.

DELL will be dead money for the next 6 weeks and won't begin to move in Jan. Sell on the next earning rally, or if there is no rally, buy calls to expect an after earning rally.

DELL is a great company. My strategy only apply for the traders. For long term investors, the 12-month target price for DELL is 80-85 barring disappointment. The old DELL days are over.

good luck,
larry!
