FY 2000 ?? How about the spending freeze set for 2nd half of Y2000 ?
Most companies will cut IT spending (hw) to $0 if possible during the last 2 quarters of Year 2000, Its nice to have a long sight but when you carry out such a responsible job at S&P, and guide investors for the next 6 quarters, you better do your homework, not just sit with the calculator and assume past performance to be a guarantee for the future. Any half ass sixth grader can punch up those numbers from a spreadsheet.

I believe DELL has shown its first signs of slowdown, at 65 times earnings from here to the end of the year thru Iraq, Clinton, the incredible recent market runup in face of persistent world wide economic problems and slowdown, DELL shall slowly/rapidly/all of a sudden, fall back to 40. Jumped in with a load Dec70 puts. I know I'll make money on them. good luck.
