Pick your breakout.

Breakout, Why??
On June 8, at 46, Amzn's float was 10 million, short was 8.7 million. No insiders sale until July 8, B&T sold 350,000 shares.

Short average at 6/8 was well under $45!!
I am holding 500 short shares with average of $240!!

So one could logically conclude that since Vinik and his fund entered the game around June 8, that the low volume of the last few days and especially today means that he has LEFT, and gone on to greener pastures.

Actually, Mr. Disasterwatch, today's volume is the lowest since June 8, at 46, right before Amazon tripled!

Examining volume out of the context of recent price movement, as well as general market conditions, can lead to erroneous assumptions.

In fact, low volume following a price surge is a sign of a top.
