Very nice. I wonder if this Yahoo that wrote this took into account the quality of the posts. Just because you have a lot of posts doesn't mean the information is worth anything. I get much more useful information from SI than Yahoo, which usually gets into foul language, rumors, personal attacks, and mostly a waste of time.

SI requires a payment, and this filters out a lot of the non-serious posters. Yahoo is free, and you can see it pretty quick.

Off Topic...Internet Brand Names isn't that an oxymoron? I don't buy this BS about a brand name as the be all and end all on the internet.
Sure it sounds great as Yahoo climbs $10 a day, but is it really true? I guess when people start they want something easy like AOL, Amazon or Yahoo ergo the perception that brand is everything (just like netscape right?). In the end people get the best product at the best price (price often dominates peoples thinking). Right now Yahoo offers one of the best products on the internet, will they in 5 years? Who knows? Are eyeballs and pageviews the right way to measure internet traffic? How do you know what yahoo customers want? I know that I can view a lot of pages and still not find what I'm looking for, and sometimes I find what I want right away. I don't need to tell you which I prefer. When a new site comes along with a 'better' business/advetising model than yahoo, guess which will grow faster...
Sorry for the tirade, I just wish people were more consistant.
