<27 to around 5>

But that was SYBS dropping bombs on ORCL, not the US on IRAQ. Oracle7 was late and getting later. Sybase was flying high on the strength of Transact SQL. Those days are gone. Shoe is on the other foot now. SYBS won't deliver anything resembling Oracle 8i in our lifetimes.

I don't see our bombing Iraq taking $22 off ORCL, but it could certainly put the lid on for a while. I'd like ORCL to run up on anticipated earnings, but waiting for an Anthrax tipped scud to land in Tel Aviv might diminish the party atmosphere.

Wonder if Greenspan is long ORCL?

Yes! Happiest days of my life. I bout at around $5 and then more at $9. It has financed my midlife crisis quite nicely, with enough left over for the kids' college fund.
