Oh, this is awful say the naysayers. Well, I challenge them: just what is awful? Don't tell me about the implications for future growth. Your crystal balls are as murky as mine and thus that is just conjecture. Tell mne about what is wrong in the way Dell executed. Be specific. Numbers count!

What makes the market tick? Just numbers....I think not. Many people say the market is 50% psychology. Dell's future looked crystal clear just several days ago. But like you wrote...the future is now "murky".

Chuzz,
Hi!!!

RE: Pests....

You are so elegant with words...the manner in which you describe the devious and down right pessimists....well, I could choose a more simpler means of portraying their skepticism...but, then your world didn't evolve around a locker room... :o)
Thanks for the wonderful post....nothing like telling the truth...Dell had a very successful quarter...and what Michael is telling us is the future is quite promising...we tend to forget that the most difficult tasks in life are not the ones where you work to get to the top...it is in staying there....my congratulations to allllllllll the people at Dell...staying at the top and earning the respect and praise from everyone will never occur...Let it be known that on this thread many still remain loyal to those who's efforts and hard work continue to make Dell the greatest company on earth...

Best, kemble
