Now I am not 100% sure I even know the goals of our justice system. But it seems like they should include: 1) Reduce crime 2) Deter crime 3) Stop known criminals from committing crimes 4) Stop crimes from being committed in predictable situations. 5) Rehabilitate criminals 6) Punish criminals 7) Dispense justice in a fair and equitable manner. My definition of justice: When everyones needs are met absolutely and simultaineously.
