Intel says online orders now $1bln/month

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Intel Corp. (Nasdaq:INTC - news) said on Friday that it has booked $1 billion a month in orders from customers on the Internet since July as the world's largest maker of computers chips moves aggressively into so-called e-commerce.

''We've seen a very rapid liftoff'' of the company's e-commerce strategey, Sean Maloney, vice president of sales and marketing, told an analysts meeting here.

Intel stock was up $1.31 at $104 in afternoon trading on Nasdaq.

For what it is worth, DELL might close at 65 to 65 1/2 according to the technicals, if you believe in that kind of things.
