Elwood: I already did in a post to you the other day. No more 20's. It could go to $32, I said. But from now on the momentum is upward. Continuing attempts to bridge the 35-40. Victor

Elwood; Your "informant" on the Yahoo thread is now getting technical. In an earlier post she requested information on Alpha. For those not familiar she is a woman from Houston, Texas with a web of contacts within CPQ headquarters. She reported a few days ago that EP told vendors that 4th quarter was looking better than expected. Here are some of her comments on DEC, Tandem and marketing issues.

there's been plenty of integration of tandem and dec. cpq's (tandem)mission-critical servers have been taking the banking industry by storm. of the 112 stock exchanges in the world cpq's are used in 106. new ISE to be completely cpq driven.( side note: i believe the ISE will happen SEC approval or not, IMHO) dec integration is in full gear and will be fully accretive to profits in this quarter. e.p. has stated this as a fact. i also don't see the resellers having as much of a problem as everyone makes out. it would still be in their best interests to sell cpq's they will make 6% on referrels of pc's notebooks etc. & 10% on servers. if customer's ask for cpq's they'll sell them. they make money on after market & services that's why they're worried cpq will get ahold of their customer lists they guard them tenaciously because that's where the bread & butter is. they will have to trust cpq on not stealing customers and then it will work fine. resellers themselves were in on the planning of this strategy, i doubt they were out to cut their own throats. the uprising in the reseller sector is mainly coming from those not included in the planning and the skeptics. we shall see. Would you or anyone on the thread be so bold as to say that we've kissed the 20s goodbye forever??? El

We've kissed the 20s goodbye forever. Wish we could say the same about Mark McCoy.
