Chat UMG - Media One - Media One is a spin-off of USWest, and operates a large cable operation in the western states. Also partners with TWX (Time Warner) in their Roadrunner cable modem biz. Also has 25% stake in TWX Entertainment, which includes TWX's cable operations. Average volume in UMG is 1.7 mm shares. Todays volume was over 15 mm shares, including an 11 mm share block crossed at 38 3/8. There has been heavy selling of UMG in the past few days, driving it down to 38 area. Rumors are that perhaps Paul ALlen is unloading shares. Who knows. I have added to my existing positions in the 38-39 area, and UMG is now my largest holding $$ wise, followed by CD. I think UMG is very attractive here in the high 30's and think the stock will move back to the low 40's quickly, perhaps to mid 50s. do you own DD. Larry
