Did you know that RS brought AWRE public? I didn't until I checked the SEC filings.

Larry,
I can't understand why people waste their time on SI message boards on stocks they are not in...either long or short and seem to have no interest in. I read your prior posts about waiting for 15 7/8 and then you were buying in....then you were leaving this thread to go to your newly created awre TA thread, now you're back having a contest with Scrapps trying to be sure you have the last word and you're not buying because you don't like the fundamentals even though the stock hit your buy target.

I get the feeling you never expected to see awre go through 15 7/8 and now that it did you have to fall back on something else. Aren't these the same fundamentals they had two weeks ago??

I would think you would have better things to do than waste your energy here. It just seems somewhat like a nonproductive use of your time.

With all that said, I stated previously that there are some questions we need to get answered. The difference is that I (and others) really want the answers which is why I'm here. I can't figure out why you're here or what you hope to accomplish.
Melissa

Well Larry, when Aware was planning on building their own modems and other hardware, hiring a sales force and planning to compete with the likes of 3Com, Hayes, Zoom and others...I didn't think they had a chance in a million. But they changed their minds and gave up those plans.

I'm not convinced they will make much on their patent for the multi-mirrored arrangement for telescopes.

Their underwater submarine radio communications experience is impressive, and lends itself to ADSL very well.

I'm still undecided on their video compression stuff.

The current CEO is starting to gain my confidence, but had me concerned about him being to technically inclined and not enough business oriented.

Stewart seems to have wisdom to go with his clout.

I agree with the folks who say...too slow of growth in the DSL market could be a real negative.

And failure to lure the minds required for their business will be a major set back over time. Once they have them, keeping them will be tough.

The name Aware isn't worth a toot when I attempt an 'Net search...turns up all kinds of strange stuff.

And then there is the last names of the people at Aware...I mean what is it with names like Bagasala & Tzannes...are those modem negotiating tones?
