Re: that post about Economic Value Added (EVA) and DELL...

Great stuff...think about why this is - DELL is now selling $10 million per DAY over the Internet - I think I heard on CNBC this morning that this is now 20% of total sales! I remember that this Internet sales figure for DELL was $2 million per day only a year ago. The cost of a sale over the Net (once the programs are written) is so minimal as to be almost negligible, except of course the materials and shipping. I would guess that the reason DELL can have such a great EVA valuation is in part due to their ability to use the Net as the most important area of growth for the entire company.

Sergio,

She's not worried....I showed her the link post and my dear bride nearly fainted...:-),and I thought I was the only one that could make her swoon!

Now that all of my theory is shot to hell from last night. I don't know what to think. This turning on a dime crap is making me crazy. I did get some LBFC today at open from selling SDTI. If SDTI gets down to 10 I'll be a buyer again.

With the retail reports today I would not expect Greenie to do his rate cut thing. Then we go short?
