I know the differences between BRCM and AVCO. My point is do other people? Have you looked at the AVCO thread? At first, people assumed AVCO actually made ASDL modems, then it was “discovered” AVCO provides the service only and makes nothing. I guess my main point is looking at these companies like AVCO, EBAY, and The Globe today, I think there are people out there who are buying stocks with no idea of what they do, and have never did any DD regarding them. In regards to BRCM, IMO, cable companies will pay for the new boxes ASAP. They need to roll out their new infrastructure to keep their small lead against xDSL. I think this is the general perception right now, which reflects BRCM's multiple. Regards, Pat
