Don: The bottom line is that it takes too much time and sweat to accept less then the "home run." Investors often look for the quick buck (well, I have). Sometimes, they discover that their timelines must correspond to the timelines of the company - and despite appearances to the contrary, success is seldom an overnight phenomenon.
Can you imagine this scenario -
MS Dream sequence: "Gee, all I have to do is come up with a little idea, then put all of my time and energy into building it and selling it 7 days a week, 20 hours a day for a couple of years, risk my shirt, lose weight, lose sleep, lose all other income potential, lose my mind, wreak havoc with my home life and to add insult to injury have some guy named Wally hounding me for updates every 2 minutes."
Boy, sounds like fun to me!
No. These guys expect to make money regardless of their personal bank account status.
Even Bill Gates still carries the old lunch pail.

Wally
