"Superordinate Philosophy" is a term that means all the other parts of the system are organized under it. And, I don't see anything wrong with the term "American Jurisprudence" either.

All of these things are problematic. But, none of them would be problems if we had a citizenry who had a common conscience. The ineffectiveness of these institutions and others, signal an endemic loss of integrity to the system. You are aware that the social ills of our society is spiraling out of control. Most people would like to point a partison finger.

That's why Mr. K can't handle the Tonto analogy. What if, what you thought was behind the Lone Ranger's mask is not what you've devoted your self to protecting. Better not to give it much thought.
