I think the real intent of Eric talking about the pilot sales is to start to re-focus people away from "3Com the Modem and NIC company". As he states, there is a lot of room for growth in this segment and communication capabilities are key - COM$ is strong there. This is further underscored by his comments about being a broad product company unlike CISCO. We need more of this. Non-networking (and non-technical) people do not understand what the word 'edge' means when used in networking terms. Tim
