If you have not notice, those "Ask xxx about .." threads are where the bears hang out these days. Not that I do not believe them, just take it with a grain of salt. Tim neutral on dell mid term

Yiwu, I don't know about other companies. I have requested for an upgrade from our IT dept and was put on waiting list since last month. I am still using a P-100 Dell. I was told our company has put a stop on further PC purchases until the new fiscal year. Just heard today from a colleague that her daughter were laid off by her employer. That employer did not have enough business as one of their main activities was to help our company load software and tune up PC's before delivery to us. Sad story! Our company has $15 bil annual sales and employs 75,000 worldwide, 50% US and 50% outside US. Being multinational is not fun any more. RT
