Lamar .. I'm using Netscape now, but I'm going to maintain my Outlook Express. Have you tried loading IE5 beta yet? It had some browser improvements, but it also improved on the e-mail program. Maybe if you do that, your spell checker will come back.

I assume you are using Outlook from the Office 97 package, since you didn't specify. But that version was full of bugs, and spawned the release of Outlook 98, a tremendous improvement. If you are a registered Office 97 user, you can download Outlook 98 for free, or order the CD for a nominal charge. Outlook 98 is a great program, and has a spell checker embedded, which you can choose to use, or not,
