The manipulation of the POG continues. The Friday selloff has become very common. If your intentions are to fix the POG down, the Friday action and closing price is what lingers in the minds of investors all weekend.

I don't see why the situation with Iraq should make the POG move up. After all, this has been going on at differing levels of intensity for some years now.

According to Jimmy Carter's Center for World Peace, there were 91 wars in l997, most of them of course were civil wars in small and obscure places.
