CTC, I agree about DELL's performance. As for options, being recipient of the same (and my wife too) I have an obvious bias. :-) Still, while I agree that that should be accounted for, companies will always take advantage of loopholes in the law and the change needs to come from the GAAP angle.

Let me express my concerns about component prices. In an inflationary environment in that front doesn't DELL lose it's advantage over it's rivals in passing cost cutting to the consumer? If a price war evolves in that environment, what happens?

Though it seems that component prices may soon start to rise again now that Korea's production facilities are coming back to full swing.
