Learn as much as you can, then just take some simple steps to increase security & privacy on-line. DON'T become so paranoid you won't surf, and don't become so complacent you forget all together any security & privacy risks. It's like driving a car, you learn the hazards, driving on ice you SLOW down, etc...Thousands are killed every year in automobile accidents but it doesn't stop you from driving. Take some simple steps to increase your on-line security and privacy. You will never learn if you do not read. Don't listen to me, read the articles from the experts.
