Earl...are you saying that we as a people cannot do what we want? We ALWAYS have to do what was done in the past? It's OK to be cynical, but to think that humankind has come all this way and NOT have an optimistic view of life, is I am afraid, more "Pluto-like" than the writer. You present day Republicans really have to cheer up a little. The "GOP" sound like "Grumbling Ole Pfarts." Maybe I can cheer you up...and we won't have to inhale, either...
