Phil, I don't know about web mail. I use the regular Netscape
Messenger e-mail. Let me guess: I also have a Yahoo e-mail account.
To receive or send e-mail, I have to go to the Yahoo site. This
e-mail is kept on the Yahoo mail server (unless I specifically
download some of it). My Netscape Messenger e-mail is always
downloaded - so can be read offline because it is on my hard disk.
It sounds as if Netscape Net-mail is like Yahoo e-mail: kept on the
server. The advantage I see is that you save disk space. The advantage
for the Netscape company is that you must go to their web site,
where they can show you advertising.
