Clarence:

I'm no computer whiz and I just moved to NT on a machine I built in August and had Win98 on.

It may take more time than you guess - what doesn't? - but I'm sure you'll get there.

NT is a great relief to me. I no longer have to think about OS resources in the middle of some frantic activity. It's like never having to worry whether your automobile has enough power to accelerate out of trouble. I just keep opening applications without a crash in sight.

Well, you're the best judge of what you're willing to tackle,
but I wonder what the big fright was that I threw into you.
Me reaction to that was: me? moi? <ggg>.

ZP, pae, I have the same question. What really is the
problem? NT is not a real friendly install, but it's not
that bad either. Yes, it has its frustrations; it also
has its rewards.

Clarence, I could be all wet, but I'd wager if you go to
the expense of hiring someone to set up NT for you, you'll
sit behind him saying "Heck, I coulda done it better myself."
