Ron,
Consolidations are generally worrisome but I have seen them work out in some cases too. If the share structure can be cleaned up brokerage houses will reconsider financings. This one might just work. I understand that some reputable people will be on the board and that Canaccord will be hot onto it. They have some property available to them that has 300,000 proven at very low cost to mine.
I don't believe you have been deliberately misled here--you must remember that Econ was in a JV with Twin who was the registered operator and could do nothing on their own. I have mentioned before on the TWG thread that Hermann has done NOTHING in regards to formalizing the JV with the regulatory authorities and exchanges. HE is the reason the stock has taken a bath and why I have little respect for his business ethics. They had financings in place but could do nothing until the submission was completed. In Hermanns disregard for Indonesia he effectively crushed little Econ, temporarily I'm sure.
I would not touch TWG with a 10 ft pole right now. I would reconsider if they hang on to their properties, maintain their partnerships, and install a new CEO. If you want examples of direct, unadulterated lies, ask Hermann how much $ is in the treasury. You will get varying answers of between 300k and 600k. I guess you can choose which figure you as a shareholder like best! The truth is probably closer to 100k if you do the math associated with the previous burn rate and salary structure.
Hermann f------ up, plain and simple and has driven the company to despair. After this I would suspect you will not see him on Bay Street again and maybe Howe either.
Dan
