wily, thanks for the link. I'll sort through it later when I am more conscious. I did apply for beta testing as I am totally stoked about bypassing the isdn ordeal and going straight to cable. For a few brief moments I am able to overlook the major gaps in my trading skill over the excitement that if I could eliminate quote freezes, I could at least enter trades whenever I want to and at key moments when the market turns, which is often when freezes happen. I have missed some awesome bounces because of this freeze problem. Kind of like being a surfer and sitting out there on your board for hours and when a truly groovy set comes in your board suddenly gets anchored to a post. Or something like that. My brain's not awake yet. Any way, thanks a million for all your help on connectivity questions. You should write a book, buddy! Rick
