<<< Lillette's is the one of the oldest bridal shops in the country. Mother started it in 1938.>>>>
Thanks for the post on your situation. I see you have been
having too much fun for get serious about investing until 3
years ago, but have already hit upon one of the very few really great companies, and already realize it.
Knowing that, and keeping in mind the long term aspects of Peter Lynch and Warren Buffet techniques, helps one to hold though
though these asinine and painful gyrations.
Per Peter L.,Waiting (and buying on dips)may be the most important aspect of investing.
This Thread, with comments on the high quality of Dell products
and Dell management is becoming an asset to Dell in 'spreading the word' and Michael( to my astonishment) realizes it !!!!
But someone should warn him about talking to Kemble(hahahaha, couldn't resist it)
At the July 1997 shareholders meeting ,Jbn3 and I met a Darrel Smith of Arkansas, a long term Walmart investor who more recently tried Dell and loved it. Am sure he was very happy and successful with WMT, but by now he is rrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy successful
Here we discuss other stocks using the same terminology as
as with Dell, which blurs the uniqueness of Dell and clouds the vision. Dissecting Tom Meredith's recent statements shows Dell has
no intention of stagnating or settling for the slower growth rates
of others the industry. Dell is the next Dell.
Thanks and good luck
Sig

QT,
Hi!!! <<So many wonderful things came back to me as a result of someone's inquiry or comment or piece of information. Many people on this thread really show on a regular basis their earnest desire to help.>>

Russ Vandermartin and his wife Patty just left our home....they drove up here this morning just to chat about Dell and visit...their three hour drive is one of relaxation during their retirement....great people...for some reason the Dept. of Motor Vehicles sent him the same license plate in Pennsylvania that the DOMV sent me in NY....
BUY DELL....
During our chat Russ commented about how much this thread has helped him....how everyone shares so much information that makes him so well informed...IMO we can never express our gratitude to those that make the world of Dell a vision everyone can understand... :o)

Hope some of the long lost friends find you here....Steve Scott and I met here after 31 years...we wrestled together in high school...actually our brothers also wrestled with us at the same time...Steve and I met again at the shareholders...what a nice feeling...oooh....ask Steve about that server facility.... :o) :o) :o)
Best, kemble.
