AR, I tend to agree with you. A commodity is a commodity. And, while everyone is always calling for a recovery in DRAM, nobody thinks the US steel market is ever coming back. I think it will some day. Now is a bad time to buy any stock dependent upon growth, IMHO, but I think these basic stocks will be leaders on the way up. Of course, we first have to get the economy into recession before we can come back. <G>

BTW, the news about GM using more aluminum and less steel couldn't have helped, either.
