Sue Larry Trading vs Investing an alternative (best/worst of both worlds) if you go into a trade, and like it for both quick scalps and longer term when you sell,just hold a small piece,100/200/500/1000 shares, whatever; and make believe you don't own them I've done that for years with reasonably good results but once every 6 months to 2 years sell most of them if I think the overall market is ready for a major downfall as I did last June/July recent examples of ones we have talked about on this thread and were traded in the Z portfolio that are "sitting" in my don't watch account and may stay there for 3 months to five years AVI 200 13 5/8 CSCO 100 47 1/8 GCO 1000 4 3/16 NITE 500 5 1/4 RCL 200 19 1/4 TECD 100 38 1/2 WFMI 100 34 1/2 just an idea
