Rudedog,

I just checked out the DirectPlus web page. Not bad. Although, it is real uncanny how much the new Prosignia looks like a Dell Dimension/Optiplex. I know, appearances mean nothing, but even the web page is very similiar to the new DELL page.
Looks to me like CPQ is saying OK, for this market segment, we will do anything you can do, and do it CHEAPER!
Like others have said here this week CPQ is forging ahead on its own now, or at least it appears that way. Stock price will follow.

Question:

The NGIO bus architecture sounded like it was for server applications and not desktop. Any chance that the desktop market could also be affected by this change in technology?
