You are correct that DELL's competitors have been trying to find a way of slowing DELL's growth. Remember the PCI-X proposed standard? Even Craig Barret at INTEL said that DELL was excluded with intent by CPQ, HWP and IBM. Kind of reminds me of the Microsoft court case except this has more conspiracy issues since there are a number of companies trying to slow DELL with this tactic.

I believe that the negative spins on DELL's stock valuation are part of the same overall strategy.

The matter will be settled in the marketplace not court.
