Doctors made the decision and consulted family first. My wife told them my wishes were not to be kept alive on machines unless recovery possible. They asked her to call the undertaker and make arrangements which she did. They pulled the dialysis machine, breathing machine, feeding tubes and stopped all medication. I know sounds impossible and doctors to this day are amazed and call me a miracle. After I came to they started medication and venous feeding but did not reinstall the other life supports. They advised my wife not to get her hopes up for this sometimes preceeded death. Guess it did but mine lasted almost 14 years now.

My life has been filled with seemingly impossible tasks. I have overcome them all so far. I can guarantee some of the tasks accomplished in business have been just as much a mystery to friends and associates. With me they have all had simple formulas. An inborn stubborness not to surrender and my mothers teaching me the little engine that could. I still think I can and by lifes experiences I just know I can. The reason is simple; I do not ask God or others here on earth to do it for me. I just do it knowing I can.
