I find it interesting that with the increase in price in the last two
weeks that two new names come out of the blue to discuss every single
negative possibility that might exist. After reading all these posts, my simplistic explanation is that they jumped in to sell short and now are trying to talk it down. I don't care how brilliant Zeev is, unless he's completely selfless and neutral, he's going to support his own postion. I get the impression of "one hand washing the other".

<< Would Worldcom's chairman not have checked things out before joining Valence? I expect he went as far as to visit the Northern Ireland factory and to go over the financial situation first such that joining a failing company was not a consideration. >>

€ Valence's IPO was in 5/92. In that prospectus I find this info: "Bert C. Roberts, Jr., 49yrs old, director", and "Mr. Roberts joined the Company as a director in March 1992."

Conversations with people who know Valence and it's history suggests to me that Mr. Berg, Mr. Roberts and Mr. Shugart are "old buddies." Mr. Roberts resigned as director after Lev Dawson resigned, back in '93; Dawson returns in late '97, and a few months later old friend Roberts rejoins.
