>>However, Micron Tech denied at the meeting that the global DRAM market will
rebound, saying that such predictions have been repeated several times, and do not
mean that Micron Tech will not be damaged by Taiwan dumping. <<

oh, so micron has a two forked tongue, huh? now, isn't that convenient (dripping with sarcasm ;-)

micron has shown itself utterly flacid when trying to prove dumping against anybody. i suspect nothing will happen this time, either...

Is it not obvious? Micron wants to dominate the DRAM market and will use any method to achieve their goal. Lawyers must love 'em...and I'm sure so do their customers.

BTW...Micron is also well known for increasing prices to customers just prior to shipment. Got to love their ethics!

DJ, your gonna have to do better than little dumping charges against a non player if you are gonna try to save mu. so called robust sales(in mu's eyes only) won't even help. if, and that is if, the softening of prices are true ,and they will be if the koreans dump mu will tank as fast or faster than their latest rise. tk not quite having the affect he use to comes out and says he sees prices softening than the party is over. you could probably start in on the 2001 projected sales but nobody fell for it. personally, i thought the non reaction to the sia(i think the a is for appleton) hype was a major sign of skepticism in the so called semi rebound. william
