Dwight,

Can only speculate who the LED supplier is. It's entirely possible they want to remain anonymous until the patents are finalized. Seems to me this breakthrough will have serious implications on the players in this industry. There is probably a lot of "behind the scenes" jockeying for position in this race to commercialize and partner with MVIS.

BTW heres an article from the Seattle Times today:

"Microvision, a Seattle developer of virtual-reality vision gear,
jumped $2.813, or 47 percent, to $8.813. Besides adding two
prestigious outsiders to its board, the company announced a
breakthrough in making consumer microdisplay products."

Humbly report, All, some speculation on SI and Yahoo that the "prominent materials research company" mentioned in the MVIS blue LED PR is Cree - #reply-6524875.
