Datek. Had no problems entering a short ladder and also info is marginable and borrowable in the very contrast to everything else on my bear portfolio. GMAI is not even Marginable. GERN,INFO This was one of the positive surprises of Datek, otherwise I am rather disappointed. Honestly I can no longer recommend it due to the slow executions at the days borders (morning, late afternoon). Recently I nixed a gain on a short when I over-covered a short 4 times and had to sell the stocks afterwards. an ongoing discussion about Datek is here on SI. Just search for Datek topic. C.
