Jan,
I have a very strong feeling that Internet stocks especially AMZN is going to collapse. Barrons, even the analyst all over the place are calling this a bubble, a correction is due. I am seeing AMZN around $100 this friday or the week after that. I am short AMZN and Yahoo now
and for the first time held it over the weekend.
Good Luck .

Hello Jan:

I have always wondered about how people who trade in and out deal with all the tax issues. I don't consider myself a trader, but still have managed to amass 100 trades this year... Unfortunately, Uncle Sam requires me to account for each of them. Of course I have an accountant, but my accounting to him I still find burdensome. I suppose that when one makes 1000s on a given trade, 5 minutes of accounting is nothing, but when one loses on a trade, it just seems to be a big chore.

I have certainly won more than lost this year (:-)), but have lost often enough so that these 5-minute dings are burdensome. A penny for your thoughts.
