NCC,

Be cautious my friend. As for Santa Barbara
being a hotbed of tech stocks...not really.
I live there and let me tell ya, we have had
more than our fair share of crashes as of late.
For instance, we hold some of the big losers of
the NASDAQ such as Applied Magnetics, Meta Creations,
and "Earth shell", that hugh IPO that was supposed
to make zillions on environmental food containers.
We got quite a few others at their 52 weeks lows
as well. Be cautious on these small cap companies
that trade like AVCO did on Thursday. Lots of
people have been buried too!

-John

There's a private investor in EXGP who has amassed over an 8% stake in the company who has Wall Street connections.

EXGP's portal technology is being marketed by Saatchi & Saatchi. If EXGP lands one or more portal companies as clients, ie: YHOO, XCIT, LCOS, SEEK, NSCP, CNWK, GNET, etc., EXGP's move up could indeed be AVCO-like.

Regards.
