If the price of a stock was truly based on earnings and valuations, then yahoo and Amazon would cost less than half of what they are selling for now.
As for the trend being my friend, the truth of the matter is that each of us has a different view of what a short term and/or long trerm trend is. To some a short term trend is a matter of minutes or even hours, to another days, and to another weeks.
As for a chart being a way of predicting future earnings growth, etc., this is WAY off base !!!! A chart tells one about the mass psychology behind the current price trend and whether or not the bulls or bears are winning the battle or whether or not they are at a standstill or crossroads.
TA is NOT magic or voodoo, is NOT 100% accurate and is subject
to many interpetations. MY interpetation of the Jabil chart is that in the short term (the next 5 to 10 trading days for me), this stock price will drop. If I am wrong then I will know in short order and will exit my position quickly, even if it means a small loss.
Whatever happens, remember this......A good trader not only must be right more often than when he is wrong but must make more money when he is right than he loses when he is wrong.
Good Trading to all....
