Thanks for that info, Cards. I think perhaps they will have to see cash flow solidify before they can safely spend much of that 44 million. If it does ( you are right, time sure will tell) then i think they'll put it to work. And if cash flow solidifies, the stock price will be markedly higher - making acquisitions easier to pull off.
Wasn't going to post this...and please take it as the fourth hand information it is .....but I was at a wedding reception in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago. Someone who knew i invested in Ampex introduced me to a guy who had spoken to her about the company some weeks before. He said he worked with a Hewlett Packard engineer who was very familiar with it, and that fellow's opinion was that it was far from dead but that they had to step back and rework one problem to make it salable. I asked him what that problem was...and about two highly technical paragraphs into his explanation he lost me completely....lol... I thanked him and headed back to the dance floor. Perhaps this new patent ( which at least sounds like a real improvement ) might do the trick someday - but I am absolutely NOT factoring it in to any assessment of AXC.
