Patrick, Sorry for the delayed response. You need to download the CLC and IDX files to the \PINNACLE\UPDATES directory. Yes, you do have to download each file individually. This is my biggest gripe with Pinnacle, although I was once told there is a downloading utility coming sometime down the road. Reuters is much, much easier. You set the downloader to retrieve at a certain time of day and away it goes. Pinnacles data is much cleaner however, which is why I went and subscribed to it. I have also been having trouble downloading data from Reuters lately. Two days last week I could not get any data. I fired of an e-mail on Wednesday, and I have yet to get a response. I'd cancel in a heartbeat, but they are the only good source of Canadian stock data which I need. Arrgh! Anyways, stick with the Pinnacle. You should have received a sheet that looks like a receipt. One there will be you name and pass for the website. Download all the files you need and run the PINNUP utility. They inlcude a number of batch files in the distribution which will do this automatically. I customized them to my liking and it is a simple 5 min procedure now. If you have trouble let me know. Depending on your internet speed I could send you either the last month or two of updates, or my updated *.PIN files (masters that Metastock and ASCII are pulled from). I am connected via cable modem so it is a simple enough procedure for me. Optim
