HC- I just looked at the outstanding puts and calls.
cboe.pcquote.com
I counted 6529 calls(side bets that the stock will go up) and 862 puts(side bets that the stock will go down) for the months of November thru June '99. With a ratio of 6529 votes for one candidate vs 862 votes for the other, it seems fairly certain which candidate we should expect to get elected! 6529/862 = 7.57 ratio of calls to puts.
