JP and Anyone - the reported chemistry in the Phoenix/Roc/Dragon targets is of " olivine and ILMENITE " montello.com Question : Are Ilmenites in a kimberlite offer any significant $$ economic value as a bonus ore ? ( wonder what are the percentage of ilmenite is in these pipes ? ) Ro Tinto is already in the ilmenite business in Quebec : riotinto.com Ilmenite is the raw material for producing Titanium Dioxide which is used in white pigment manufacturing. Titanium statistics : minerals.er.usgs.gov Sorry , if we're getting off track here; and the ilmenite is of no significant added value to the pipes. Thanks, Gord.
