oh, I have to comment on this part, now that it's there. Conversely, TransPoint has been viewed-perhaps unfairly-as direct competition to banks and financial institutions. The truth is, TransPoint offers services that are quite complementary to banks. TransPoint's services and technology are sound; the challenge will be to change the industry's perceptions of TransPoint's role in the EBPP market. Their service is sound? implying that CheckFree's is inferior? Gimme a fricking break. And the big bad wolf was attractive to little red riding hood with the basket of treats. Oh, I forgot, banks are clearly in control of this whole e-banking concept. no green behind their ears.

TransPoint may have a better opportunity for success, thanks to an extremely comprehensive end-to-end solution for handling the entire electronic billing life cycle. Makes me wonder what is that "missing link" that MS has and CF doesn't. I guess, something that no bank needs or doesn't want it to get into Bill's hands.
