Thank's Ian...that was very interesting especially the punchline: "...When Lynn Turner arrived at the SEC this summer, he had just previously been the chief financial officer of a recently acquired chipmaker called Symbios..." It appears that Turner is skeptical about management's estimates in general, especially if they are estimates of estimates. I am still bullish for LSI over the next few years. This article does make it clear that the true picture of "operating" profits after a purchase can be skewed significantly by creative accounting. EKS
