1. They have been looking for ten years.

2. The idea that plants are indicators is outdated by
twenty years.

3. The piggy-back idea does not work because you are dealing
with companies more broke than you are. Ask Peter Gummer
at Rhonda Mining Corporation if you don't believe me.

Just my thoughts, thanks for provoking them.

over and out - aj

Ray - If Marum had anything that was close to being a kimberlite -they could go to Kennecott, DeBeers or Ashton and convince them of it. Then Marum would be left with the same sort of deal that MEO has and numerous other small outfits. Marum has done aeromag, they don't have any money, and they don't have barely any overburden. It should be like shooting fish in a barrel if they had anything.
Last Febuary they went looking for Kimberlite with a shallow drill and came up empty. They then changed their tune and claimed to be looking for 'indicator minerals'. They never actually admitted to missing the Kimberlite. They have the aeromag, they have the indicators, they claim they are at the leading edge of exploration technology -why don't they make a deal with a major?
The answer is that at the present time they do not have enough to interest a major -after looking for years -with no overburden! Maybe They are on the verge of a great discovery and they are quite correct in keeping all the ownership for themselves because it is in their shareholders best interests to make the stock go to $20 - $5 is simply not good enough.LOL.
My guess is that they are trying to soak the market and string everyone along.

The reason I like Montello is because they have a huge land position. Marum has a very small land position.
The reason I like Absolut is that they are very close to the ACA action. Marum is a fair ways away.
I can see no reason to like a small land holder that has been looking forever -with barely any overburden and still does not have enough to interest a major. My guess is that they have squat.
Mind you I don't have x-ray vision so I could be wrong - but I sure see alot of better places in the ADP to put money prior to sinking it into these guys. JP

PS -Everest is rumoured to be close to a deal with Kennecott on the Calling Lake property. They would be my pick these days in this price range.

PPS - When picking a stock to play you need ones that have reasonable volumes to allow you to go in and out. MMU does not allow that -either does Absolut for that matter but I am gambling on the Absolut management to pull a rabit out of their hat someday because I trust them to do so. When I ask Absolut management why they do not promote at all these days -they say it is because they do not wish to promote without something firm to be basing the promotion on. One would wish the MMU management would be so honest.

Guess I'll take number 1,000! -- Thanks for the insights, Ray. It is great that Marum is open and working with AGS and adding to the public research data-base,, for the better cause for all involved. -- Marum has plenty of land with lots of potential (around 1,000,000 acres in northern Alberta, having just claimed a lil more around the area they've flown and have been testing). Anybody can stake lots of land, the trick is claiming prospective, feasible land. I will not slam other companies in the process, unlike some here, but I will only say that Marum is doing their level best in lean times and I am a firm believer that they shall prove up some product! Follow the facts! ;)

Marum is a hard working company that tries to keep shareholders abreast (interim reports), and are right now trading at a level with very little downside, obviously at under a dime, and for those who wish to slam the stock at this price to me is bizarre. Drilling in January!

Re. CG opting out, I made some comments about this here:
Message 6047833

Re. the diamond and kimberlitic indicators Marum has found to date, compare what MH found on their shared cluster (the anomalies straddle the property lines), found here: Message 6119956
(also see MMU's past NR's for their documentation at their website)

Anyway, I just got back from the beautiful mountains and am fully relaxed, and now look forward to what Marum has to offer shareholders.

Do your own diligent research folks, and make an informed decision.

Best O luck folks!
