ITEC..and another thank you and apology for being too inundated to answer everyone. I want to reiterate how important posts like that of Jeffrey and others have been especially in the last 3 months when the 'bearish' market really had us searching for some ways to profit despite the dire situation. Also the numerous other e-mail I've received this weekend are for greatly increasing the quality of stocks in Market Gems. I've gotten some great picks from posters, discovered through you avenues and resource for further research, questions asked on various stocks have gotten me involved with companies that I have since adopted, reaffirmed some of my own picks and in general it has raised the quality of this thread.

We have a large amount of subcribers now, yes that is true. But it is not even 13-15% of those that read this thread on a regular basis. It is not only those that bookmark it, there are others that just put it as a shortcut on their desktop without bookmarking it at all. It has come to my attention that over 4,000 read this thread more or less consistently. The category of "Short Term Traders' is restrictive enough so that 4,000 short term trader confined in one area like this thread is a large percentage of them.

That is why I've gotten e-mail this weekend from over a dozen financial sites who have actually 'pleaded' with me to include a postive mention about them on this thread. Of course I won't do it. If I write somthing about Investor's Business Daily or Telescan it is because I really recommend them from personal experience and usage for upwards of 2 years now. I don't do 'endorsements' that I don't believe it.

I've spend most of Saturday reading the 200 email that accrued just since Friday. If I say it took nearly 4 hours it is not an exaggeration. That is why I want to continue this thread in the same manner and to just generally thank everyone for adhering to this request. And to all those who e-mailed, I thank you but apolgize I couldn't answer them all. But I must tell you this... A subscriber from canada, wrote me an e-mail on Friday afternoon he had written me a few times about picks because he was NOT a member of SI and had no idea what was 'hot' and what was not. I spend 3/4 of an hour on his e-mail helping him analyze the 'picks' in the short/puts watch list, the last watch list from Friday and in the preliminary newsletter for the coming week. It turned out that he had picked up about 11 companies in the last week and wasnt sure if the 5 he still held were holds or sell for profits... So I went through every one of them. turns out through that e-mail I discoverd a nice amountof our stocks for this week have already been buys and were not even approaching overbought status. Except for TJX, WTSLA and BJ, I was so involved with the internet sector that I did not notice. I will be printing an update late this afternoon on their situation plus add some new ones.

Important Message ...I've been asked by readers to this thread, both newbies and more seasoned "market gemers" to put together some of my posts from last two year that pertain to strategies, indicators, chart reading ect. Like a "Collection of the Best of Market Gems" Although there were many excellent postters and contributers to this thread in the last 2 years, who have had a great impact on this thread inorder to isolate them I'd have to almost read all the 20,000to find them and that is an impossible task with my added responsibilities with market gems. This will take the place of the marketgems.com site.

It will now be in a 'totally modern' format comprised of links to my (and others if they are timely or have educational value" from SI. We are approaching 20,000 messages and of course I can't go through all of them right away but I did go through the first 8,000 or so a few months ago (hence I was able include the hyper links)you will find on the left side of that site and put some of the "strategies" types of posts on that page as well as in the education page.. marketgems.com us.html and marketgems.com those are the kind of posts I will include, but now it will be in an 'uncluttered' type of web page style with titles on each link so you can now if the subject interests you.

So many new people e-mail they have difficulty in reading back through the posts and locating the posts that have 'education' value among others that are no longer timely.. these new web pages will include them. And they will be updated in a timely manner. This way subscribers, and non-subscribers alike will see all posts pertaining to strategies collected in pleasing format.

The format will be very pleasing to the eye. This will take a while but will be well worth the effort and access will not be confined to just subscribers. This will also answer some of the many e-mail I get about strategies that are already delineated in those posts... The format style will be ready by tomorrow and I'll give you the new URL.
