Elmer, nice description of bin testing, etc. One question, does any semiconductor company do final, packaged test at elevated and low temperatures anymore? Or, do they use guardbands at room temp., which, if passed, more or less guarantee functionality and speed at upper and lower temps? The guardbands would have been set by correlation testing on many chips over many lots, etc. Temperature testing is expensive and cumbersome, as you know.

Thanks,

Tony
